B-CLASSIC
Frankly advised the Flemish B-Classic (Festival of Flanders) in 2022/23, which offers classical music and makers new opportunities and perspectives. To this end, B-Classic, as a production company, makes room for creative processes in which musicians, alone or in collaboration, work on a new production and performance practice.
As a creative producer, Frankly was at the basis of several productions, including two larger cross-genre i collaboration projects. In 2022 The End of Infinity with Icelandic singer-songwriter JFDR, London composer Kieran Brunt and Belgian cellist Benjamin Glorieux. And in 2023 The Art of Listening with Flemish theater maker Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe, Icelandic producer Valgeir Sigurdsson and guest violinist Elisabeth Klinck. I
n addition, Frankly initiated smaller productions such as a concert lecture with Ramsey Nasr, an immersive version of Simeon ten Holt's Canto Ostinato and a one-off performance of Bram Stadhouders' Suite X.
